Victoria Hewson, IEA Head of Regulatory Affairs, has commented in the Daily Express on why the government should move to reform the EU financial regulation that remains in UK law.

Victoria described the Solvency II rules on how much an insurance company is able to invest as “arcane and complex”.

Further, Victoria asserted that if the UK fails to reform this regulation, that we could “end up with a worse regulatory system than the EU”.
