Christopher Snowdon appears on The Spectator's Coffee House Shots
IEA Head of Lifestyle Economics Christopher Snowdon has appeared on The Spectator’s Coffee House Shots podcast to debate the issue of British Summer Time with conservative columnist Peter Hitchens.
Responding to Hitchens’ argument in favour of maintaining the ‘natural’ Greenwich Mean Time all year round, Christopher said:
“We should be on British Summer Time all year round. When the clocks go forward, everyone except Peter Hitchens will feel happier because it will feel more summery and nice because it will be lighter in the evenings rather than having useless light in the morning.”
