IEA Communications Officer Harrison Griffiths has written in The Daily Express criticising proposals to outlaw laughing gas.
Harrison wrote:
“When the police are failing to perform basic tasks like preventing theft and prosecuting rapists, it is a poor use of their time to go after laughing gas uses.
“This proposed ban is little more than virtue signalling.
“Rather than going back to basics and focusing police resources on tackling violent crime, the government is doubling down on the unwinnable war on drugs.”
