Andy Mayer, IEA Chief Operating Officer, has been quoted in The Times in an article criticising the government’s approach to dealing with recent shortages in gas.

Andy had this to say of the government’s proposed net zero alternatives to fossil fuels:

“Politicians fight a never-ending intervention race where the latest proposal is designed to correct the bad headlines attached to the last one, while creating new and unintended consequences, and repeat.”
