Earlier this week, Emily Carver, Head of Media at the IEA, wrote about the need to protect free speech on university campus for Conservative Home. The article was picked up by educational publication Wonkhe.

The Wonkhe reported: “What we don’t know is whether O’Brien would back the kind of invasive interventions into higher education envisaged by Gavin Williamson’s freedom of speech champion, or whether voices on the right like the Institute of Economic Affairs’ Emily Carver are starting to have an influence”.
