After the Spring Budget, IEA Director General Mark Littlewood was quoted in the Daily Express criticising the government for increasing the UK’s tax burden. The Chancellor announced an extra £30billion worth of tax increases which will put the economic recovery at risk.

Mark Littlewood warned: “On most projections, the Johnson government will tax us even more heavily than Clement Attlee’s post war socialist administration”.
