Comparisons between how different countries have dealt with the common threat of Covid-19 will be and should be made, writes the IEA’s Director General Mark Littlewood.

But as Mark argues in his biweekly column for The Times, “the test isn’t simply whether those in authority have exercised balanced judgment, but whether the systems that they operate within give them the best chance of this judgment being right.”
