In his bi-weekly column for The Times, IEA Director General Mark Littlewood argued that the UK is right to oppose President Biden’s minimum global corporation tax plan at the G7.
Mark argued “the crucial reason to block the Biden proposals is to prevent the G7 acting as a cartel. In the same way that we welcome competition between supermarkets, restaurants and pubs, we should warmly embrace tax competition between different jurisdictions“.
