Annabel Denham, Director of Communications for the Institute of Economic Affairs, has written for The Telegraph, arguing politicians should be handing information to the public, not scientists:  “rather than dispatching scientists to deliver alarming prognoses or slowly attempting, through gradual tightening, to pull the wool over our eyes.”
