IEA Transport Expert Professor Len Shackleton has appeared on GB News and talkTV over the festive period to discuss the ongoing rail strikes and how they might be resolved.
On GB News, Len argued:
“The solution to this crisis, I think, is for the unions to sit down with the government and negotiate productivity changes which could fund genuine wage increases.
“You cannot really begin these serious talks with the rail unions unless you’ve got productivity issues on the table,”
