IEA Communications Officer Reem Ibrahim appeared on talkTV to discuss the negative impact of the creation of a trade border between Northern Ireland and Great Britain.

Reem said:

“If we’ve got a foreign court with jurisdiction over any part of the United Kingdom, including Northern Ireland, then that’s just not what Brexit was about.”

“People in Northern Ireland are struggling…businesses, to transport very small amounts of goods have to go through a huge amount of paperwork…for some of these smaller businesses that have to absorb the adjustment costs, it’s quite difficult for them,”
