With the culture wars raging on, the IEA’s Head of Political Economy Dr Kristian Niemietz asks whether we’ve moved to situation where people’s political identity is primarily defined by cultural issues, rather than economic ones.

In an article for Reaction, Kristian argues that the culture war will not in fact replace economics; campaigns such as Black Lives Matter and Extinction Rebellion have built entire movements around the narrative that we must destroy captialism.
