Responding to the release of a new report showing HS2 chiefs lack the skills to complete the £100billion rail project, the IEA’s Head of Transport Dr Richard Wellings called it “a lucrative gravy train.”

Quoted by The Sun, Richard said: “This damning report hardly inspires confidence in the management of the scheme going forward. It is not too late to cancel HS2 before even more taxpayers’ money is wasted.”
