An IEA research paper by Dr Kristian Niemietz, ‘Viral Myths: Why we risk learning the wrong lessons from the pandemic’,  has attracted significant media attention in recent days.

Despite many positive reactions to the paper, some have decided to misrepresent the research for political reasons. Kristian’s research is featured in a column by Allister Heath in The Telegraph as an example of a victim of the culture of intolerance surrounding the NHS practised by “cultish fundamentalists”.
