The Guardian has reported on the latest IEA research paper, ‘UK Debt in Perspective‘. The paper looks at the UK’s debt, comparing the current state of the nation’s finances with other tumultuous periods in British history.

Instead of brash emergency tax hiking measures to deal with the debt, the paper calls for sensible fiscal policies and pro-growth measures, like de-regulation, to get the economy moving.
