The Times reported on the release today of new IEA briefing paper ‘Model Behaviour: How economists can shape the post-lockdown world’ by Paul Ormerod which argues “economists must play a bigger role in shaping public policy on how the lockdown should be lifted”.

The report goes on to say “fears about a second wave of coronavirus have tempered the government’s lockdown exit strategy but the institute called for greater scrutiny of the claims made by epidemiologists.”
