The reason why some socialists – such as Ash Sarkar – quickly become household names while others remain obscure fringe figures, despite decades of activism, is not down to a difference of ideology, but a difference in style, and PR savvy, writes the IEA’s Head of Political Economy, Dr Kristian Niemietz.
