IEA Head of Public Policy Matthew Lesh has been quoted in The Daily Telegraph commenting on the prospect of heavy-handed EU tech regulation hampering the Irish economy.
Matthew said:
“Ireland, by providing a more welcoming environment to tech companies, has significantly benefited from tech investment,
“But the EU’s anti-tech approach – from harsh data protection, competition, and speech regulation through to pressure for higher taxes – risks undermining Ireland’s economy.”
