IEA Editorial and Research Fellow, Prof. Len Shackleton, was quoted in City AM commenting on the encouraging unemployment statistics published by the Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR).

Len warned that the UK was “not out of the woods yet“, adding: “Hours worked are still eight per cent below pre-pandemic levels, there are still three quarters of a million fewer people in work, and well over three million remain on furlough“.
