Labour announced they plan to invest over £1.3bn re-opening 3,000 bus routes that have closed over the last decade. Emma notes that while the plans may be ill-thought out and not without problems, they aim to tackle an issue that has an enormous impact on peoples’ everyday lives but that doesn’t often get a hearing in Westminster.
