Second lockdown could cost “£8billion every two weeks”

As the Prime Minister announces a second national lockdown to last at least four weeks, with hospitality and non-essential retail to close, the damage to the economy could be “up to £8billion every two weeks” according to figures from IEA Economics Fellow Julian Jessop.
