IEA Senior Research Fellow Jamie Whyte has appeared on talkTV to discuss the UK’s chronic low growth after the UK was confirmed to have the lowest growth in the G7

Jamie said:

“We haven’t had any real growth for about 15 years. It’s extraordinary, that with things so bad in the economy, almost nothing is being done by the government.

“It’s not just no growth, there’s really no prospect of it either, it’s just wishful thinking that it’s going to just suddenly increase.”
