In an op-ed for City AM, IEA Director of Communications, Annabel Denham, argued that growing calls for regulation in the labour market to ensure workers have the right to work from home would damage flexibility and could have negative effects on employers and businesses.
Annabel said: “we are on a runaway train to ever-increasing employment regulation, powered by the intractable attitude that employers must always meet our needs and preferences. In traditional employment, flexibility is king“.
