In an article for CapX to time with the release of his new briefing paper for the IEA, Economics Fellow Julian Jessop has written that there is nothing wrong about trying to put a monetary value on a human life.
It may well be right to put health above economics, he says, but the balance is starting to shift. The longer the economy hibernates, the greater the risk of permanent damage.
