The Daily Mail reported on the economic cost of extending lockdown restrictions for four weeks, saying that the hospitality industry could see  a loss of £3billion.

IEA Economics Fellow Julian Jessop was quoted in the article, saying: “‘Even a delay of just a few weeks could be the final straw for many businesses, especially pubs, that have only just survived. They may not come back at all.”
