As a resident and worker in a rural area in Bucks who has been aware for many years of a far too great an emphasis on urban and city (the power imbalance created by political and population centres), I see ‘zoomshock’ being discussed in terms of the impact it is likely to have on those infrastructure rich areas. However, I have seen no discussion of the way zoomshock will impact infrastructure poor areas that will be impacted by localised increases in daytime population and the associated resources needed. May I suggest this is a fundametal oversight by those studying the topic.
