Panel discussion: The Future of the Railways – Who should own, run, and operate what?

The IEA is delighted to invite you to a panel discussion on the future of the railways in the UK including ownership, management, and structure.

The discussion will coincide with a new IEA paper on the possibility of abolishing Network Rail.

The event will be chaired by Professor D. R. Myddelton, author of “They Meant Well, Government Project Disasters” and former IEA Chairman.

A Paragon Initiative Event

This event is part of The Paragon Initiative, a five year programme which will provide a fundamental reassessment of what Government should – and shouldn’t – do. It will put every area of Government activity under the microscope and analyse the failure of current policies.
