IEA open letter to the Chancellor featured in The Times

Ahead of the Chancellor’s speech to the Conservative Party Conference, Sunak has been urged to embark on a big tax simplification by an influential group of more than 30 economists, academics, business people and politicians, reports The Times.

The newspaper covers the IEA’s open letter as well as a briefing paper by Neil Record ‘The Chancellor’s Post-Pandemic Choices’, who has identified the tax, fiscal and regulatory policies needed to boost the UK’s economic success  post-Covid.
