Mark Littlewood writes for The Times
In his biweekly column for the The Times, IEA Director General Mark Littlewood argues that while “testing times often call for radical thinking”, the solutions to our economic problems “may simply lie in looking at practices over the last couple of decades”.
Referencing recent IEA research by IEA Chairman Neil Record, Littlewood suggests we may only need to “rediscover the fiscal and regulatory prudence of the eras of John Major and Tony Blair” to steadily improve household incomes and the government balance sheet with a minimum of political courage.
