Responding to the release of a new report revealing HS2 chiefs lack the skills to complete the £100billion rail project, the IEA’s Head of Transport spoke to Stephen Nolan on BBC Radio 5 Live.

Richard Wellings argued that with the costs of HS2 ballooning, plus the massive hole in the public finances as a result of Covid-19, it makes sense to cancel HS2.
