IEA Head of Lifestyle Economics Christopher Snowdon has warned in comments to The Times that European wine producers could boycott exports to Ireland if the government goes ahead with mandating health warnings on bottles.

Christopher said:

“I can’t see the great vineyards of the world changing their labels to suit a tiny market like Ireland,

“The Irish wine industry had better ramp up production.”
