New IEA research on the cost of living crisis has been referenced in a BBC report.

The new report endorses deregulation as a way to lift pressure off of households struggling with the cost of living, examining how over-regulation in six different sectors is unnecessarily raising costs for families and exacerbating the crisis.

The article reads:

“In a separate report, the Institute of Economic Affairs said that the next prime minister should cut red tape for housing, childcare and energy to help counter these spiralling costs for households.”
