  • 08/10/2015
We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.
With its Charter due for renewal in 2016, the decline in the BBC’s audience share continues as channels proliferate and new ways to watch television take hold.  In the light of digital switchover, pay-to-view TV and internet services, this lecture will consider whether the licence fee can be adapted to reflect this new world, or should be replaced by a new funding model.

Lecturer: Helen Weeds, Professor of Economics, University of Essex

Respondent: Diane Coyle, Professor of Economics, University of Manchester, and Founder of Enlightenment Economics
