Following on from the CMA referrals of the first distribution price reviews conducted under RIIO by Ofgem, this lecture will consider how network regulation has evolved from RPI-X and can adapt to changing markets and industry structures, and draw cross-sector lessons which can be applied to the new system for the regulation of the UK’s £75 trillion payments industry.
