9 November 2014 is a day of remembrance, marking the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall – a moment in history which represents the reunification of Germany and the triumph of liberty.

On 10 November, the Adam Smith Institute and Institute of Economic Affairs will be co-hosting a celebration to mark the historic occasion.

The event will begin at 6:30 PM, with brief remarks at 7:30 PM from the former Deputy Prime Minister of Poland, Professor Leszek Balcerowicz and the former president of the Czech Republic, President Vaclav Klaus.
