Christopher Snowdon quoted on City AM's front page

IEA Head of Lifestyle Economics Christopher Snowdon has been quoted on the front page of City AM criticising the government’s latest crackdown on vaping which includes a ban on disposable vapes and e-liquid flavour restrictions.

The article said:

“[Christoper Snowdon], head of lifestyle economics at the Institute of Economic Affairs, deriding the policy as an example of the government ‘trying to ram through illiberal and counterproductive policies before anyone thinks about them too carefully’.”

“Snowdon pointed to an American study authored by Georgetown and Yale professors which suggested smoking use increased in areas in the US where a vapes ban was in place.”
