Julian Jessop, IEA Economics Fellow, has commented in the Financial Times on the Bank of England’s decision to raise interest rates by 0.25% in an attempt to combat rising inflation.

Julian regarded the move as unsatisfactory and asserted that the Bank should have “gone big or not bothered”.
