“The ‘public health’ movement has spread itself too thinly over too many issues”, writes the IEA’s Head of Lifestyle Economics, Christopher Snowdon.

In a column for Spiked magazine, Chris argues that “the modern ‘public health’ establishment is, at best, a waste of space. At worst, it is a menace”.

Snowdon argues that public health bodies from WHO to local authorities are unable to focus on their efforts on worthwhile pursuits and instead expand their remit to areas they ought not to concern themselves with.
