Mark Littlewood writes for the Daily Telegraph

“As a free trading independent nation, our alliances and agreements will be in a permanent state of flux” and regardless of whether the UK and EU reach an agreement on their trade relationship in 2020, the negotiations will continue, says Mark Littlewood, Director-General of the Institute of Economic Affairs.

Writing for the Daily Telegraph, Mark says “we are about to learn that Brexit is at least as much of a never-ending process as it is a specific event” but that this isn’t necessarily a negative, noting that with the failed negotiations between the EU and US “it would have been far more fruitful to have sought to make incremental progress, area by area.”
