IEA Head of Media Emily Carver has penned her bi-weekly article for Conservative Home commenting on the recent outrage caused by the findings of the race report by the Commission on Race and Ethnic Disparities.

Emily criticises institutions for adopting  woke orthodoxies like critical race theory, white privilege and unconscious bias training. She argues it is wrong to cancel people who dare to challenge the woke agenda and suggests it is time to allow free and open debate about how to tackle racism.

Emily said: “There is too little critical thinking in schools and far too much critical race theory and we will all suffer in the end, for it can only lead to division“.
