Reem Ibrahim appears on talkTV

IEA Communications Officer Reem Ibrahim has appeared on talkTV and discussed new opposition proposals to expand housing supply after the next general election.

Reem said:

“We do not build enough homes in this country, the average house price [in London] is about 10 times the average salary…and we’ve seen the amount that rent prices have gone up in London as well.

“We need to build more and unfortunately, we’ve seen these Conservative MPs reject new housebuilding because their residents don’t like it.

“I say crush the NIMBYs and let’s go for it.”
