Kristian Niemietz, IEA Head of Political Economy, has penned an article for CapX on the vitriol aimed at Molly-Mae Hague, former reality TV star and now, Creative Director of fashion retailer, PrettyLittleThing.

The backlash comes after Molly-Mae asserted in an interview conducted in December, that, “You’re given one life and it’s down to you what you do with it, like, you can literally go in any direction.” 

Kristian argues that the extent of the public outcry over her comments proves that, “the widespread perception that ‘Culture War’ issues have replaced economics as the major ideological fault line in society”, is false.

“The Great Awokening has not crowded out Millennial Socialism It has absorbed it.”
