Prof. Len Shackleton writes for CapX

IEA Editorial and Research Fellow Prof. Len Shackleton has written an article for CapX suggesting that although lockdown restrictions are easing, the high street will not necessarily rebound as many expect.

Len said “the damage that the pandemic has caused to Britain’s shopping malls and high streets is not going to be repaired soon, if ever“. This is down to a combination of changing consumer habits and lingering social distancing measures which put the high street at risk.
