IEA Energy Analyst and Chief Operating Officer Andy Mayer has been quoted in The Times and City AM discussing flaws in the government’s Energy Bill Relief Scheme.
The Times article outlined some objections to the new policy, including Andy’s argument that tax cuts and targeted welfare support would be “a more effective solution, encouraging less energy use, while rewarding those who had already invested in energy”.
