Piers Morgan, Keir Starmer and several members of members of the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (SAGE) have called for a second lockdown, but this isn’t surprising considering “none of them is likely to lose their jobs, let alone their homes, in the next 12 months”, writes the IEA’s Head of Lifestyle Economics Christopher Snowdon.
