Research by IEA Director of Public Policy and Communications Matthew Lesh on the uncosted regulatory measures proposed by the main parties at the 2024 General Election has been referenced in The Times.

The article said:

“The Institute of Economic Affairs, a think tank, in London found that Labour’s recent election manifesto contained 62 policies to increase regulation and just 13 that would decrease the burden on British business, somewhat undermining the Starmer government’s pro-growth rhetoric.”
