Andy Mayer appears on talkTV

IEA Chief Operating Officer and Energy Analyst Andy Mayer has appeared on talkTV criticising the imposition of fines on oil and gas companies for producing too much oil.

Andy said:

“they are just implementing what virtue signalling ministers over the years have decided they should do.

“The government would very much like us to believe that they can do a thirty-year plan to transition from where are now, (…) The trouble is, we know they can’t – they are hopeless at planning almost anything”
