Drawing on some of the key themes from the new IEA/Civitas briefing paper, “Rebooting Britain,” Professor Shackleton says that if employment is to recover quickly, businesses must be free to make their own decisions. With unemployment rising, we should be reducing restrictions on hiring people, not added to them.
