The IEA, TaxPayers’ Alliance and Adam Smith Institute have jointly condemned a new report, by Henry Dimbleby’s National Food Strategy,  which has proposed sugar and salt taxes on everyday food.

The Telegraph reported the IEA’s opposition, saying “The TaxPayers’ Alliance (TPA), Adam Smith Institute and Institute of Economic Affairs estimated the taxes would see an average family food bill soar by £172 annually.”
