IEA Labour Market Expert Professor Len Shackleton has been quoted in The Daily Express discussing the Royal College of Nursing’s decision to reject the government’s latest improved pay offer.

Len said:

“The Government should not agree to a pay settlement at a rate anywhere near the 35 per cent. To do so would encourage many other public sector workers to press similar claims and cost taxpayers dearly.”
